Refunding deposits

Sometimes plans change. You can refund deposits from either the client or the booking.


Client deposit refund

  1. Go to Clients → Edit Client.
  2. Adjust or clear the deposit on file amount.
  3. Record your refund externally (cash/bank) and save.
note

Card deposit refunds aren’t applicable yet, as card deposits aren’t live.


Booking deposit refund

  1. Open the View Booking screen.
  2. In the Invoice / Price Breakdown area, set the deposit back or adjust status/amount as needed.
  3. If the invoice was already generated, Regenerate Invoice to reflect the change.

Notes & reporting

  • Deposit refunds are manual and depend on how you took the money.
  • Keep statuses accurate (Paid vs Pending) so your remaining balance and reports stay correct.
