Recall reminders

Keep your calendar healthy with gentle nudges to clients whose pets are overdue. Barkway checks the Last Groomed date and your recall period to know when to send a reminder.


How it works

  • Trigger: pet is overdue based on your Recall Period
  • Channel: uses your Sending options and the client’s preference
  • Content: simple reminder to rebook (with your branding)
  • Source data: Last Groomed updates automatically when a booking completes
tip

The toggle to enable recalls lives in Settings → Notifications → Send Auto Recall Reminder.

Enable recalls

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications
  2. Switch Send Auto Recall Reminder to Yes
  3. Save Settings

Tips

  • Make sure Last Groomed is present for new pets (set it once when you create the pet) so recalls kick in on time.
  • Use recalls alongside deposits for a powerful “book ahead” strategy.
