Notifications
Set it and forget it. Barkway can automatically remind clients about upcoming appointments, send a thank-you with the paid invoice link, and nudge overdue clients to rebook — by Email, SMS, or both.
- Uses the client’s preferred contact method when both channels are enabled
- Branding (logo, name, address) comes from Settings → Business
- No templates to manage — messages are kept short, clear, and on-brand
- Early Access: messaging costs included (fair use)
What you can automate
- Upcoming booking reminder – fires before the appointment
- Thank you + paid invoice link – after a completed & paid booking
- Recall reminder – for pets overdue based on your recall period
Configure it
Go to Settings → Notifications to set:
- Sending options: Disabled / Email only / SMS only / Email & SMS
- Reminder lead time (hours): when to send the upcoming reminder
